Today, Stephanie celebrates 200 episodes of The Leveraged Practice Podcast and reflects on her journey to growing the TLP brand episode by episode. She offers five lessons chock-full of guidance and inspiration to those who want to get their message out there and make an impact in their own space, in their own way.
She opens up about some of the biggest challenges and setbacks that she faced throughout her podcasting journey—and the lessons she learned as a result of soldiering on. These include her realization that a commitment to consistency does not and should not mean beating yourself up for missing a week on your upload schedule. She learned that “consistency means showing up for your audience; but, it also means showing up for yourself.”
Stephanie also talks about the virtue of doing work that brings you absolute joy, and if that means giving up what you’re currently doing to start over again, pursuing that intersection between purpose and passion will always be worth it.
Bouncing off of that is the lesson that we must always stick to whatever we set our eyes and heart to. Stephanie encourages us to put all of ourselves into that one big dream project, and keep at it until the job is done.
Finally, Stephanie tells us that there are only two ways to continue to fuel our love for and commitment to what we do: dreaming and prayer. Keep a strong vision of your desires firmly in mind, and offer it all up to a higher power. All the while, keep taking action.
Sooner or later, you’ll get there.
