This episode is important for anyone with anxiety or anyone with a loved one who suffers from anxiety.
Four years ago, in the earliest days of the Covid-19 pandemic, I stumbled across a video of clinical psychologist Dr. Becky Kennedy giving advice on how to manage the increasing anxieties of the lockdown. I asked her to be a guest on the podcast and we then recorded one of the most important conversations of my life.
I aired that episode as a BONUS in March of 2020, and decided that I wanted to replay it now as the world continues to feel fraught and uncertain. We could all use Dr. Becky's reminder that anxiety always makes sense.
Since we recorded this conversation, Dr. Becky Kennedy has become a household name in the parenting space. She has a podcast, a #1 New York Times best selling book, a Ted Talk, courses and seminars, and an informative and popular Instagram account.
