Richard started out in retail working in Marshalls and sporting goods. He received a promotion and decided to buy a new car. He noticed the energy of the dealership and everyone seemed successful. The car salesman who worked with him was well dressed and wore nice things so this triggered Richard. He started to entertain the idea of becoming one of these guys and pursued car sales right away. Richard started in a Hyundai store and was there for 8 months then spent 5 years at a Honda store. During his time he held positions as a salesperson and later became a sales manager. Richard grew the internet department from selling a couple of cars a month to over 150 cars. May of 2011 Richard took a leap of faith, moved to Florida to pursue a career as a successful Internet Sales Director.
