Phill Wright spent over 30 years in finance and banking and is well-known in Utah for his political involvement. He became the executive director of Keep My Voice, a non-profit organization dedicated to defending the First Amendment rights of the Constitution. During his political volunteerism, in 2012 he wrote his first novel, Not Without Mercy the Black
Death, the heart-wrenching story of a family trapped in the middle of the Black Plague in 1348.His first book became a successful amazon best-seller. Two years later he followed up with a second book called, Not Without Mercy the Passage Home. The books detail how this family stayed together and overcame the most deadly plague in world history. In 2018 he wrote a non-fiction book called Man Against Messiah, the Sanhedrin Plot Against
Jesus, becoming an Amazon best-selling book. This book details the names and lives of the
actual Sanhedrin men who engaged in the illegal trial that resulted in the crucifixion of Jesus
Christ.
Phill taught Gospel Doctrine over 15 years in three different Wards in three states. He also taught early Morning Seminary for six years. In 2020, Phill became a Patriarch for his Church and decided to step away from the political fray.
His new book, Return From Rysa, co-authored by Richard Nelson, became an instant best-seller, shooting to number one in its category on Amazon. The book was written as a Religious-Fantasy-Fiction that teaches the Plan of Salvation from a benevolent alien race perspective. He wrote the book to reach out to the many millennials who are leaving the Church and to help people discover that God created worlds without number, and
he placed his children on all those worlds. This Earth is where the Son of God was born, brought the Gospel, was crucified, and resurrected for ALL of God’s children on worlds without number.
On December 10th of this year, Phill will be married to his sweetheart Shaun McKinney Wright for forty years. They are the parents of seven children and grandparents of 13.
