August is such a crazy month - the second "new year" as it's often called, except without the fresh start and instead with the idea that we're all gearing up for school, fall chaos, and, of course, all of that bleeding into the holiday season.

But I don't want the second half of the year to feel frazzled, so I'm setting myself up for (better) success with a few rules and mantras to live by.
