Dr. Magen earned his MA in education and PhD in psychology at Stanford University, and then served as the research director for the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Counseling and Psychological Services. He is the founder of Parenting For Humans, a relationship-first, trauma-informed system for parenting, and the founder of DivorcingDads.org, a nonprofit dedicated to helping fathers stay healthy and connected to their children during and after a divorce.
