  • “Overnight, we went from being weeks away from flipping the on switch on, two years of work, three million dollars in, to nothing. Absolutely nothing. There's nothing we could do with this platform in that moment. That was the worst, the absolute worst of my professional career, for sure. And I've had some pretty low lows. It began a trickle-down effect of all sorts of challenging things happening. Had a stroke, I'm blind in this eye, 50% blind in this eye, all sorts of things. My business partner, Matt, was a tremendous resource for saying, "Oh well, let's find our pivot and let's go." My friends who have already been in this situation, who have already built massive eight, nine, even ten-figure companies, shared their stories with me. "Hey, that same thing happened to me, only it was food products. Hey, that same thing happened to me, only it was real estate." They were able to give me guidance and they were able to kick me back in the game. My wife was able to kick me back in the game. My brother was able to support and kick me back in the game. So the people that you have around you are what are going to absolutely matter the most when that bad thing happens and cause that comeback rate, if you will, to be that much quicker.” – Chris
