Chris got his start in the automotive industry when a friend asked him to help open an independent dealership in Tampa Florida. Chris was previously in finance which he felt was parallel to the automotive industry by it being commission-based and unlimited earning potential. Chris decided to move back home when he and his wife Leslie became pregnant with their twin boys (now eight years old). Upon returning to Lexington, Kentucky, he took a job in software sales. He quickly missed the auto industry. Chris partnered with his childhood friend Mike Adari. They started by purchasing one car and selling it then reinvesting the profits.
