Dan Ryan is Co-Founder and CEO of VergeSense, a San Francisco-based, Sensor-as-a-Service platform specifically designed for our commercial real estate and facility management world. Mike Petrusky asks Dan about how sensors can help workplace leaders manage space utilization for conference rooms and improve workplace experiences for building occupants, especially in an open office plan. Dan shares lessons from his journey with customers as they use data to make a workplace change or deliver action that will impact the employee experience. With a goal of going beyond dashboards to gain actionable insights when deploying workplace tech, Dan talks about leveraging the power of AI by using algorithms to help understand the vast amounts of data that have been gathered and combining that data from multiple sources to enhance and optimize building performance.
