EP 525: Season Update with Ben Guttormson

What’s up podcast listeners, this week Ben and I have our semi annual whiskey and catch up session to chat about how season has been going to include lessons learned. Ben and I actually linked up in the woods for 2-3 days and I actually go to watch ben put a stalk on a great bull that unfortunately did end with a dead elk.

For me season has been good, other than I hate hunting when it’s as hot as it has been all year. I intentionally set my Montana dates back this year to try and hit what seems to be a later rut with high temps. I still have had my best luck in Montana in the month of October. I took a few days off to catch up on work and hang out with the family but headed back out to the woods today to try to get lucky with this storm coming in.
