Dan Mayland hasn’t been on the podcast in a a couple years. Which is a shame because it was one of our more popular episodes. Dan in a Wyoming transplant but has been in Montana for 17 years now. LEO by weekday and mountain explorer by weekend, Dan is your everyday guy that just gets after it. In this podcast we talk about his 2021 deer experience hunting with his son and the successful year they had. Dan has been exploring eastern montana since before it was popular and we dive into some of the misconceptions that people say about the good ol’ days. We chat about the explosion of hunting pressure out east and how Dan tries to combat that. Dan is an avid bear hunter and we talk about some of his adventures and the upcoming season.
