Andrew Mawson is leader and a founder of global workplace change consultants Advanced Workplace Associates (AWA). From a general management career in the IT industry, his unrelenting curiosity for the transition to new models of work led to the founding of AWA in 1992. Since then he has worked with some of the world's leading organizations on their journeys to explore and implement new forms of working. He is responsible for the development of AWA's change processes and methodologies which have underpinned the behavioral transition of over 70,000 people to new models of work. Through a number of evidence-based studies, he has developed a unique understanding of the factors that propagate high levels of professional performance. These research initiatives have driven him to the door of neuroscience, which he now believes holds the key to managing change and creating multi-faceted, multi-sensory workplace experiences that enable people to be the best they can be. Mike Petrusky asks Andrew about AWA's plans for Workplace Week in New York, with over a dozen site tours and fringe events taking place from June 24-28, 2019 that will benefit the "I Have a Dream" Foundation.
