Unhealed trauma with men has been at the root of almost every conflict or tense moment with my man. 💔

I grew up with a fierce single mum,

who drilled into me that men were not to be trusted.

Add in my deep abandonment wound from my dad leaving when I was one,

plus layers of sexual trauma … and yeah,

I had some SERIOUS work to do to feel safe with men.

And then … I said yes to becoming a wife last year. 😵‍💫

The old, worn-out narrative that “he doesn’t really love me, he’s a man.”
