Goals are great, but they’re nothing without the right plan to achieve them. Today’s episode is intended to give you the roadmap to training for (and accomplishing) your Fall or end of year running goals!


In 5 simple steps, you will gain more clarity for the outcome you hope to achieve, as well as the actions you should take in training.


The steps for success include: 

  1. Establishing a plan and strategy that sets you up for success.
  2. Creating process goals to pursue throughout the training cycle.
  3. Using past performance to inform future training. 
  4. Acting out your performance standards to best prepare for race day.
  5. Setting a realistic, measurable outcome goal to achieve.
