SURPRISE!!! HERE's AN EXTRA EPISODE FOR YOU THIS WEEK!
If you've ever struggled with being an activist (aka volunteering and making social change happen) this episode is for you! In this episode you will hear about what might be holding you back from doing activism work, what ADHD traits are fantastic for this type of work, and tips to help you get started and keep on going!
Here are the tips to help you get started/keep going:
1) Make sure you are registered to vote... and then actually vote!
2) Take inventory on what you are passionate about and do activism work in those areas.
3) Start small (meaning don't just jump in with all your energy and burn out quickly): share things on social media; research the topic; donate to non-profits doing the work, etc.
4) Schedule in time to do activism work.
5) Enlist others to help alongside you (aka body-doubling).
6) Be aware of what triggers your RSD and find work arounds.
7) Advocate with your $ and where you spend it!
