Abu lives and trains in Iten, Kenya with St.Patricks group under the famous Brother Colm.
Abu was born in South Sudan and fled civil war with his family when he was very young. He spent his early years in a refugee camp in northern Kenya and gradually made his way over the next decade to Iten, training alongside David Rudisha.
Abu shares much of his training in this episode.
