In this episode of The Real ResQ, Mel and I recap my biggest rescue where I earned my Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC). An explosion on the Fishing Vessel (F/V) Galaxy which crippled the vessel in the middle of the Bering Sea. With a two hour transit time to get on scene, we had a lot to discuss when COMMSTA Kodiak told us everyone abandoned ship and there were twenty six (26) people in the water.  As Mel and I go over all the details of this rescue, I am reminded how impactful this rescue was for me.  Enjoy!
