In the last month, the U.S. has seen a massive spike in anti-Asian hate crimes. According to The Cut, there were 20 incidents in the first half of 2020 alone, compared to 1 in the entire year of 2019. These activities have prompted intense sadness, frustration, anger, and fear amidst the Asian and Asian American community.

Today, we have Tammy Cho & Michelle Hanabusa, co-founders of Hate Is A Virus, a community of mobilizers and amplifiers that exists to dismantle racism and hate. Tammy & Michelle started Hate Is A Virus in April 2020 in response to the rise in hate crimes against Asian American Pacific Islanders due to the pandemic.
