Living in Sacramento since his youth, Jake is the oldest of two brothers, one sister, and a stepbrother. As a kid, Jake always wanted to be a businessman, taking control of his own career… which began with his first job cleaning Police cars at the age of twelve; encouraged by his father who was a Police officer. Inspired by his family buying a house built in 1889, Jake constantly grew up around construction as the building was fixed up. After spending time in the Army (Squad leader in an Air Assault Infantry unit) Jake went into commercial construction and then ultimately real estate investment. Having received some success in his young adulthood, he achieved his goal of being a millionaire before the age of 30. However, during the subprime housing collapse he was over leveraged and watched his entire portfolio of properties and net worth disappear. Naturally, such a devastating change required tremendous perseverance to survive; and Jake doubled down on his work ethic and his knowledge. Attaining undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship and graduate degree in International Real Estate, Jake has once again become a success— as an opportunistic investor he is now focusing on buying historic buildings, restoring them, and stabilizing them for rent or cash flow… eventually selling them for a profit. With over 15 years of experience in the profession, Jake has over 130 million worth of projects, and accomplished over 1000 property flips throughout 15 states. Married with two children, Jake remains incredibly close to his family as well as friends he’s made throughout his life.
