Detective Scott Day had been on the Edmond Police Force for just about 20 years. Close to his retirement, he could reflect back on his career and be proud of the work that he had done…all except for that one case from 18 years prior. He had been a rookie officer then, and the first to respond to the scene of a murder and a violent sexual assault. The case had gone unsolved and haunted the community.
