This Christmas season, don’t glaze over the nativity story. When the angel visited the shepherds to tell them of the coming of the Savior, it was a sure-fire word that they could act upon immediately. They lived a mundane, day-to-day cycle of faithfully tending to their sheep, when God’s meticulously planned moment intended for them to experience was sprung upon them all of a sudden. Like a light switch, everything for them changed. Believer, God still speaks. He has a word for you, and it WILL come to pass. The only thing that lapses is time.
