Andrea Miller is the President of the National Institute for Reproductive Health (NIRH) and its Action Fund, that serves to empower and normalize women’s decisions about abortion and contraception in both state and local levels. Having served for more than two decades in the leadership of and as a consultant to a host of non-profit, advocacy and philanthropic organizations, she is a nationally recognized expert in reproductive rights and women’s health. 

Since assuming the Presidential role at NIRH in 2011, she has been a key person in the expansion and growth of the organization’s state and local strategies portfolio. Due to her ability to form strategic partnerships with different organizations that stand alongside the Institute’s pursuit, NIRH has had the opportunity to engage with more than 150 reproductive health, rights, and justice organizations in 39 states and 56 localities in the country.

Andrea’s leadership in reproductive health and rights began when she helped found the Center for Reproductive Rights back in 1992.
