I never thought that I would have to explain to dozens and dozens of people why carbohydrates don't make you fat and why it is probably not a good idea to drink butter. 

Today on the podcast, I am going to break down why carbohdyrates don't actually make you fat and I will link lots of relevant research below.

This is a great review of low carbohydrate vs high carbohydrate diet comparison studies 

Here is a review about why cholesterol still matters, but it is non-HDL particle # that is important NOT LDL cholesterol 

Here is a feeding study that compared a ketogenic diet to a high refined carbohydrate diet that was the same calories 

A paper reviewing the actions of insulin in the brain

Another paper reviewing the actions of insulin in the cardiovascular system
