Nugget Of the Day: “Good is coming, few have the courage and simplicity to believe it”

This quote leads us into our guest Dan Casey. Coach Casey is the head football coach at St.Davids high school, a track and field coach and was apart of AFCA 35 under 35 coaches leadership group. I found coach Casey after being tagged in a couple of his posts about the importance of speed and technical and tactical abilities of a football athlete. I loved the breakdown of these posts and thought it would be an awesome opportunity to bring an actual sports coach onto the podcast to talk about how he thinks and goes about training. Today we talked about the speed advantage, why it’s important for your players to enjoy practice and how he goes about breaking down the technical aspects of the game.
