Kurt acted as the Director of Corporate & Commercial Architecture and Urban Planning at Legat Architects in Chicago, where he led Midwest and National teams in the design and delivery of hospitality, entertainment, multifamily, retail, senior living, and life science projects. He is an active advocate of Enlightened Urbanism, marrying urban planning, evidence-based design, and experiential design to create a sense of place by incorporating principles of wellness and sustainability into every project.
