“Just being able to find a sustainable amount of work, is really important for me. Doing 200km a week, I might be a little bit better, but I would have burnt out 5 or 6 years ago and I wouldn’t still be running.” – Max King
Max King was the winner at the 2014 IAU 100 km World Championships and the 2011 World Mountain Running Championships.
On top of this, Max has run an 8:30 steeplechase on the track, as well as a 2:14 marathon!
The guy has serious range.
In this conversation, we speak with Max about all things training, his base in Oregon and why it’s so good for training, as well as his future plans.
