Many people like to think this whole idea of barefoot running, or natural movement is new, but what if it's actually really old and we have not been learning from the masters of it?
Today's guest is Joseph Mora, originally from Southern California, he's been running on and off for most of his life, running in the bare foot fashion for about 10-12 years.
Joseph has been a student of Native American thought and philosophy for most of his life. He lives in the Southwest and has a lot of roots there. He takes the philosophies, tenants of the Hopi way and the Native American way of being and running, and incorporates those into his lifestyle.
We're going to find out more about that on today's episode of The MOVEMENT Movement Podcast, the podcast for people who want to know the truth about what it takes to run, to walk, to hike, or whatever it is you like to do, enjoy-ably, and effectively.
If you have any questions, just drop an email to [email protected].
To connect with Joseph, his website will be available in June at aztlantimes.org.
