Research is really clear for runners, walkers, hikers, getting stronger is better, and now you can't go to the gym, but you might want to go back to the gym. I'm going to try and talk you out of that with my guest today, Al Kavadlo. Al started working out in 1992 when he was just 13 years old. A decade later he began his career in the fitness industry.
In 2009, Al started a blog and a YouTube channel and wound up getting a book deal with Dragon Door Publications soon thereafter.
His first book for Dragon Door, entitled Raising The Bar, was released in 2012. He's since gone on to publish 6 more titles with them, including Get Strong, a collaboration with his brother Danny, which has sold nearly 50,000 copies worldwide and been translated into nearly a dozen languages. Al is also known for his appearance in the popular Convict Conditioning book series.
