I want to start today by saying something out loud that I think a lot of women secretly wonder about.
Even women who listen to this podcast. Even women who love journaling. Even women who teach journaling.
Sometimes… I skip it.
Not because I don’t believe in it. Not because it doesn’t help. But because I’m human.
And if you’ve ever thought, “If I can’t journal every day, why even bother?” this episode is especially for you.
Prompt 1: Releasing All-or-Nothing
What do I make it mean when I skip journaling?
Name the story — without judgment.
Prompt 2: Expanding the Toolbox
What other practices help me process, regulate, or connect with God?
Honor them.
Prompt 3: Redefining Success
If journaling didn’t have to be daily to matter, how would I relate to it?
Let this answer feel freeing.
Prompt 4: Permission Statement
What permission do I need to give myself around journaling right now?
Write it like a gift.
Prompt 5: Gentle Return
When I do come back to journaling, how do I want it to feel?
Not productive — supportive.
