I didn't start painting because of its mental health benefits. However, it's been an incredible benefit to my life. From the first painting I finished to slinging paint yesterday morning, art always seems to pull the deepest thoughts and feelings from the back of my mind.

Art helps us move emotions and stress out of our bodies. It helps us break past mental blocks and gives us the freedom and space to be our most authentic selves. Art is healing.
