Anyone who has listened to me for a while knows that my platform is to help you become the best that you can be . I focus on the health and fitness world. It is encouraging and inspiring to be sought out by a professional motivational speaker because he looks for like- minded people to share his inspiration and reach as many people as possible.
Dynamic Motivational Speaker, Michael Arterberry, talks about:
- What is your why?
- Affirmations
- Silver linings
- Control your thought life
- Change is in your show up
- Changing generations
- No regrets
- How do you want to be remembered?
- Small changes- one slice at a time OR 1/4 lap on a track at a time
- Be the driver of your car, not the passenger
- Shake the dirt
Does any of this sound familiar? Maybe you have heard a few of these words come out of my mouth a time or two?
Michael Arterberry was a disadvantaged child of poverty who was determined to change his life and to help others change theirs. Michael helps his audience understand that it’s not about the destination, but the battles won along the way. He encourages them to hold on and understand that bad doesn’t look bad when there is good in it.
Michael states that people will follow you if you inspire them. He works hard to inspire, lead, encourage, and celebrate the people that come into his life. He always reminds us to …Be Encouraged!
Michael received the 2010 USA Network’s Characters Unite Award for exceptional commitment to combating prejudice and discrimination while increasing tolerance and acceptance within the community. He is also the recipient of the 2014 100 Men of Color Award for leadership in education, government, mentorship, entrepreneurial success and community service.
Most recently, Michael was awarded the EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD from Y-COP, the Youth Community Outreach Program in Mt. Vernon. Other places to find Michael Arterberry include:
