Mary has arrived on the little island of Alderney and shares the first few weeks of settling in on an island of 3 miles by 1.5 miles (5km x 3km).

Being remote is not new to Mary, she lived on a boat for 7 years and first set up to be self sufficient when she was just 21 years old.
