My name is Michael Barrett, 42, Rep Sleepy. I have been married to my wife, Rhonda, for 19 years. We have two kids. The oldest is Carrie, 9, Cat Nap and youngest is Evelyn, 6, Donut. We adopted Carrie from birth. Evelyn is a miracle child that my wife gave birth to since we couldn't have kids. I joined F3 in March of 2021 as a very out of shape sad clown. I had come to realize I needed to be healthier for my family but didn't know yet what else F3 was going to add to my life. Carrie started showing signs of severe anxiety not long after I joined F3. That has since led us down a road of diagnoses with ADHD, OCD, and general anxiety disorder. My faith and F3 has held me up through what has been one of the most difficult seasons of my family's life. We haven't finished that journey yet, but it is comforting to have a group of men that are walking with me through it. From the F3 side of things, I was driving 30ish minutes to the two closest AOs for the first year plus I was in F3. We made the decision to launch an AO in Seymour, TN in April of 2022. We named 7 FNGs that morning and have never looked back. That AO has birthed 2 more AOs and has two more in the works this year. It also was the catalyst for F3 Smokies to starfish from F3 Knoxville in January of 2023. F3 has made me a better husband, father, and employee and I can't imagine my life without it now.
