American foreign policy is currently focusing on 3 regions of the world. Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific, and all 3 are critically important to focus on right now. It leaves little time and political capital for other things. But under the headlines, the nation of Cuba has been engaging in diplomatic talks with the U.S in an attempt to normalize relations between our two countries. Could improved relations between Cuba and America be in the near future? Or will talks falter and return to the status quo?
