To wait for God is to be still, to be quiet, to stop, to rest, to quiet myself and to hold my peace. Waiting for God instead of surrendering to the chaos of our nervous thoughts helps us to hear God more clearly. Regardless of religious belief, affiliation, creed, or personal belief, this is a Universal truth.
