  • 78. Police Officer Life is Saved by the Most Unexpected Gift
Jocelynn realized something had to change when she saw herself on television in a "Most Wanted" report. Sixteen felonies, a drug addiction, multiple crimes to sustain it, the lies, homeless and tired of fighting, she called the police department and turned herself in. It was a process, but she submitted her life to Jesus and was delivered. In the years to come God would call her to serve in so many ways, including the donation of her kidney to one of the officers who arrested her on 3 different occasions. In this episode Jocelynn shares:
    • The heartache of those darker days, and her path to recovery.
    • How God told her she would have a facility for helping others get set free from addiction.
    • The day she clearly heard God tell her that she had the officer's kidney, how it was such a perfect match that the hospital assumed she was his daughter, that it was in excellent condition, and it set a record for most urine output after transplant!
    • The beautiful way God blessed her in how she would share the news of the kidney donation with her children (God is in the details).
    • The Place for Grace ministry and how God is opening doors and providing in miraculous ways.
    • Her encouraging message for those listening who are struggling with addiction.
    • A fundraiser ending 10/20/2021 where you can donate $100 and get a chance to win a car
    • I pray a blessing over our listeners and we give God the glory for who He is and how He loves us.

  • 77. Living Out The Greatest Commandment
Sheila has experienced many miracles and is grateful to be alive! She has overcome hardships from nearly every possible spectrum of struggle. She has two muscle and nerve diseases that present daily challenges, she has been in 20 car accidents, she was paralyzed from the neck down in her past, was hit by a bus, and was once married to a man who struggled with addiction. While she has overcome so much hardship, is now a best selling author, and has achieved great success as a business professional, it is Sheila's humility and passionate love and devotion for the Lord that I admire the most. I was thrilled to have a chance to talk with her about what it means to love God with all your heart, all of your soul and all of your mind. In this episode we discuss:
    • The importance of doing the healing work to overcome false beliefs about ourselves we may have incorporated in childhood (therapy can facilitate this for many).
    • Choose the truth of God's Word about your identity versus what your past life experiences dictate.
    • Truly accepting God's love, forgiveness and grace for yourself, then you can be capable of loving him with ALL of you, and then radiating that out to your neighbors.
    • The story of the prodigal son as an illustration of God's love for us.
    • True identity and responsibility of a Christian (are we truly acting Christ-like?).
    • Asking God to help us see others as HE sees them can help us to react from a place of love.
    • Navigating loving a person suffering from addiction without enabling them.
    • A powerful moment where she experienced the overwhelming peace of the Holy Spirit in conflict, which equipped her to be Christ-like in the moment.
    • Practical tips for this time of division include taking every thought captive, when you want to react, stop and pray and remember that we are to be kind like Jesus was kind.
    • Sheila's 6 books and new upcoming podcast "Made Whole."

Inspired by Sheila's share and I cannot wait to check out her other highly rated books! Thank you, Sheila! Matthew 22:36-40 NIV 36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." James 1:19 NIV My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. • 76. God's Redemption and Hope Restored After Heartache
Chuck Carr has experienced some profound losses in his life, but also profound healing and redemption! He has known tremendous grief in his life, has overcome depression, has learned to cope after loss and now has a heart to help others that are grieving or suffering with depression or hopelessness. God has blessed Chuck with a new calling through this healing process, a beautiful support network, and a new found joy! In this episode, Chuck shares losing his college sweetheart and wife to a battle with stomach cancer in 2008, losing his youth ministry that he loved after a church split, a life altering traumatic brain injury in 2018, and the process of healing that took place, the impact of a testimony (Joni Eareckson Tada), God's new calling of writing, some of his divinely inspired award winning books, and how his testimony is not only reaching people around the world, it is equipping them and bringing them healing! I so enjoyed my time chatting with Chuck, his transparency, his love for Christ, and his genuine desire to minister to those that are hurting. I cannot wait to see what God does through him next! Chuck's message to those in a place of heartache, "God will not leave you here. Be faithful to God. God will be faithful to you." "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." • 75. Pandemic Miracle and a Spiritual Journey

Jeff Fusco is a husband and father from Canfield, Ohio who experienced not only a baffling physical healing from the virus of 2020/2021 (has been featured on Fox news with video testimony of 2 of his many physicians), but a powerful near death experience where he saw Jesus. Jeff's testimony is so powerful that the enemy tried to steal it! During his time in the hospital Jeff was approached by an evil entity and tempted. His medical records reflect and support his testimony. He is sharing his spiritual journey and a beautiful message to inspire others. The devil was rebuked and Jeff is living out his testimony in such a powerful way and sharing the light of Jesus! On top of all of this goodness, Jeff is one of the kindest people you can meet. I loved recording this testimony!

Back in March of 2020, Jeff was 57 and working as an Executive Vice President of GBS Corp in North Canton, OH (a high tech productivity firm) and was one of the first 100 people in OH to contract the well publicized virus. Jeff had some underlying risk factors (multiple myeloma and leukemia). Upon being diagnosed, he deteriorated rapidly. Within days he was placed on a ventilator (for 3 weeks), ran a temp of 104 for 2 weeks, experienced renal failure requiring dialysis, his epithelium in his intestines were ravaged which caused hemorrhage so severe he lost liters of blood with a hemoglobin as low as 4, experienced multisystem organ failure with liver and kidney involvement, a decubitus ulcer with sepsis, and 3-4 surgeries. There were an estimated 100 physicians having some role in his care, 3 hospitals last of which he was airlifted to the Cleveland Clinic. At the lowest point his family was told to make preparations for his passing, likely within the next 2 hours.

In this episode, Jeff shares his profound, undeniable medical miracle, his encounter with Jesus, being approached and tempted by an evil entity (twice), and the beautiful confirmation from God he received shortly before he was discharged. In Jeff's encounter with Jesus, he was given free will as to whether he could stay in heaven or come back and was told he would do God's work in either place. Jeff is truly doing the work, even as he is still rehabilitating, and has encouraged and witnessed to many people around the globe. His heart for helping others is truly beautiful. His testimony is being published in a book by Guide Post and is due to be in print this fall.

  • 73. Imagine Heaven - with John Burke
Reports of near death experiences, glimpses of heaven and encounters with Jesus are occurring at a frequency as high as 1 in 10 in Europe. While these reports are subjective, and cannot become the framework for our theology, there are undeniable commonalities that clearly correlate with scripture. Could these testimonies be God's way of allowing us to have more insight to the life that is to come? If yes, how do these revelations change the way we live today? In this episode:
    • What led John to study near death experiences?
    • What is a near death experience and at what rate are they occuring?
    • What are common features of a near death experience?
    • What do people experience in heaven?
    • What is a life review?
    • WHO do people see in heaven?
    • What are some of the scriptures that correlate with these reports?
    • How many people have a hell experience?
    • How do different religions/cultures interpret their experiences?
    • If God loves us so much, how can he send anyone to hell? Who goes to heaven?
    • What resources are helpful for those searching for proof of Jesus Christ as the Son of God?
    • What steps does someone take if they want to know Jesus?
    • Where to find more on John and the interviews he has conducted?

John Burke has studied over 1,000 near death experiences over the last 30 years. He has spoken on this topic in over 20 countries to over 200,000 leaders and Christians. He has attended seminary and also studied the world's major religions and ancient writings. A former engineer, his research is thorough and analytical. His book, Imagine Heaven, Near-Death Experiences, God's Promises, and the Exhilarating Future that Awaits You, is a New York Times best seller with over 1 million copies sold around the world. • 72. Trusting God's Heart During Trials
Kenny and Kelly prayed for a miracle for their unborn baby girl (2002). Doctors had diagnosed the unborn baby with serious birth defects and advised that they terminate the pregnancy. While the parents prayed for a miracle, they also made preparations for her passing shortly after her delivery and chose a casket and burial place. Full of mixed emotions, they arrived at the hospital to deliver their baby and were thrilled to see that she was born and was thriving! A national Christian network was notified and broadcasted the story of the medical miracle, and God was praised. It wasn't long, unfortunately, before the couple realized that the doctors were right about many of the hardships they would have to face related to Ellie's complex medical issues. In this episode Kenny shares the deeply personal story of their journey with their daughter, how God moved through other people to bless their family, how God moved through their situation to bring good to a local facility, their family's adoption of Landry Kate, and gives valuable insight as to what the Bible says about trials and trusting in God's heart when you can't see his hand. Abortion is also discussed and we pray over those in a trial and for those who have had an abortion in the past. "Dr. Kenny Hibbard, founder and lead pastor of Team Church, is a straightforward Bible teacher who uniquely connects God's unchanging biblical truth with today's culture.
