Former President Donald Trump was in Iowa Monday giving a campaign rally speech. He then went on in his speech to explain why exactly he challenged the 2020 election. However, shortly after giving that speech, President Trump was hit with a gag order that was requested by special counsel Jack Smith, who is the federal prosecutor pushing the Jan. 6 case forward. 🇺🇸 Epoch Times 25¢ Sale: https://ept.ms/RomanSale1

In the gag order request, Mr. Smith asked the court to “limit what President Trump can say about the prosecutors, potential witnesses, and about the case itself, arguing that with his wide reach online, he could influence jurors in his favor.”

Regardless though, the judge in this case only accepted part of Mr. Smith’s request—meaning that President Trump is no longer allowed to publicly criticize anyone involved in this case—such as the prosecutor, Mr. Smith, or anyone they decide to call on as a witness.

However, the judge did reject the request to stop President Trump from being able to criticize the government more broadly.

This year’s international conference of police chiefs was held over the weekend in the city of San Diego. During the conference, the current head of the FBI, Christopher Wray, warned the police chiefs of the world—and particularly the ones in the United States—about the serious possibility of domestic terrorism in America as a consequence of the war taking place in Israel.

He then went on to say that the FBI is moving quickly to mitigate these threats. He didn’t mention exactly how, but potentially, the FBI might start shifting the agents currently surveilling conservative parents who speak up at school board meetings and instead have those agents surveil supporters of Hamas. That is just a guess though.

Several days ago, former President Donald Trump received a major victory from the court of appeals in his ongoing financial fraud case in New York. 🇺🇸 Epoch Times 25¢ Sale: https://ept.ms/RomanSale1

President Trump’s legal team had filed an emergency appeal to a decision in his case, where allegations of financial fraud were brought forth against him, his family, and his organization by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

His team urged the appeals court to reconsider the judge’s ruling. Furthermore, in the appeal, President Trump’s lawyers also argued that during the trial, the judge capriciously changed the statute of limitations.

And, on Friday, the appeals court accepted this argument and issued a stay on the judge’s order.

However, during this period of time in the run-up to the primary election, instead of campaigning around the country, President Trump has been in New York dealing with a legal matter. Among the many legal cases lobbied against him is the case brought forth by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

The 200-page civil lawsuit was brought forth back in September of last year—accusing President Trump, three of his adult children, and the Trump Organization of lying about their asset values, as well as their net worth. Ms. James claims that this lawsuit of hers is the result of a three-year-long investigation.

Now, for his part, President Trump maintains that the loans were negotiated fairly, the interest and principal were paid, and that the only reason that Ms. James filed this lawsuit against him and his family was purely for political reasons.

However, on the flip side, when Ms. James was asked to comment on whether or not her case was politically motivated, she claimed that it’s not true that she has a vendetta against President Trump, and that it’s not true that she campaigned against him. But the only problem with that is the fact that there are a ton of video clips floating around the internet, showing Ms. James doing exactly what she said she didn’t do.
