"May no soldier go unloved, May no soldier walk alone, May no soldier be forgotten, Until they all come home." Amy Palmer, president and CEO of Soldiers’ Angels, join us to discuss how this national non-profit organization is devoted to honor the sacrifice of our nation’s servicemembers, wounded troops, veterans, and their families. Palmer shares why she joined the organization and how the organization has pivoted to continue to support of all the branches of the services. The organization has provided care packages for deployed servicemembers, provided resources to veterans at the VA hospital, and providing adaptive technology for wounded troops. In spite of the pandemic, volunteers helped to adopt 1400 families through their Adopt A Family Program during the holiday season. Amy Palmer will share how Soldiers’ Angels plans to continue their efforts in 2021 and how others can join as a way of thanking our military and their families for their service.
