FantasyPros - Fantasy Football Podcast

Jake Ciely from The Athletic is in with us to discuss this week's top waiver wire options at each position. Who is the best widely available RB between Gus Edwards and Josh Adams (2:13), is D.J. Moore (18:20) the undisputed top wideout fantasy owners should target, and does Lamar Jackson deserve more consideration than Jameis Winston (34:59) if both are available? Also, does Eli Manning (41:52) have viability as a streamer and will Le'Veon Bell (55:34) be a first-round draft pick next preseason?

The Saints crushed the Eagles, Alex Smith was knocked out for the season, and Lamar Jackson started at QB, but ran with the ball 27 times! We're back with our weekly recap and one question some of you may be asking is, who is Gus Edwards (1:34)? Chris Carson appears to be the top dog as long as he's healthy (8:37), Kerryon Johnson got hurt so what should we make of the Lions RB depth (16:43), and is D.J. Moore better for fantasy than Devin Funchess at this point (20:15)? What's going to happen in Tennessee if Mariota misses time (24:55) and what are the impacts of Alex Smith's season-ending injury (39:56)? Phillip Lindsay continues to beast (1:00:08), here comes Keenan Allen's second-half surge (1:02:10), and it's time to move Josh Adams up the rankings (1:06:12).

Our crew shines light on their favorite DFS plays in today's show. We debate whether Dak Prescott (4:01) is a good cash game play, explain why David Johnson (19:28) should provide solid value, and share our thoughts on Julio Jones' (24:17 & 26:02) cash game viability. Should DFS players do whatever they can to fit Zach Ertz (40:18) into their lineup and is Doug Martin (53:57) a secret GPP weapon or a dud in the making?

Today we are joined by Jeff Ratcliffe from Pro Football Focus as we dish out our insight on which borderline players should get the nod or ride the pine. Who is the better QB play between Ryan Fitzpatrick and Mitch Trubisky (11:29), is Alex Collins (20:04) too underrated, and how do fantasy owners approach the Seattle backfield (27:26)? Also, is Corey Davis (34:53 and 37:03) beginning to cement himself as a dominant NFL WR and where might Le'Veon Bell (59:52) end up next year?

Michael Beller from Sports Illustrated joins our crew in today's show and together we break down this week's top waiver options. How relevant is Josh Reynolds in the wake of Cooper Kupp's (1:49) season-ending injury, has Rashaad Penny (7:28) fully taken the reigns in Seattle's backfield after his big game, and what is Keke Coutee's (28:27) rest of season outlook like coming off the Texans' Week 10 bye? Is Jeff Heuerman (38:13) or Ricky Seals-Jones the best widely available tight end streamer and is Doug Martin (57:29) arguably the top RB add this week if he's available in your league?

One of the biggest performances from a Week 10 that was chalked full of offense was Eric Ebron's (3:02) three-touchdown game, but is his hyper-efficiency sustainable? Speaking of three-score outings, was Christian McCaffery's (16:29) huge game on Thursday less impressive than it may have seemed? On Sunday, we also witnessed the continuation of Tom Brady's (34:36) struggles on the road, Marlon Mack (41:55) getting held to just 29 rushing yards, and the big Aaron Jones (55:41) breakout game we've all been waiting for.

Davis Mattek from Swolecast is in with us today while we share our top DFS plays for Week 10. Is Aaron Rodgers (6:06) or Patrick Mahomes (8:12) the preferred quarterback to pay up for in cash games? Is Tevin Coleman (20:35) a lock to hit value and does Chris Conley's (34:44) price make him an automatic play if Sammy Watkins is out? Plus, Marquez Valdes-Scantling (37:26) appears to be an excellent value option, but are both Doug Baldwin (55:34) and Blake Bortles (1:03:41) solid GPP upside plays, or are they bound to bust?

In today's episode, our crew dishes out their fantasy insight to make your lineup decisions a little easier this week. With that being said, the show kicks off with our analysis of the impact Dez Bryant's (2:17) arrival in New Orleans will have. Can Mitch Trubisky (17:54) rebound from a poor outing last week and is it time to panic about Mark Ingram (25:09)? Also, is it crazy to think that DeSean Jackson (34:37) can be a WR2 against Washington and has Rob Gronkowski (53:21) fallen from must-start status?

Sigmund Bloom (FootballGuys) is along for the ride as we give our takes on our favorite free agent pickups at each position this week. Can the Browns be trusted to be smart and give a player of Duke Johnson's (18:34) talent the touches he deserves, is Josh Adams (21:51) the Eagles' likely RB starter moving forward, and has Marquez Valdes-Scantling (31:06) started solidifying himself as a WR3? Jack Doyle's rest of season fantasy value (45:06) is thoroughly examined and the show concludes with us placing a few players under the microscope in our Buy/Sell segment (56:18).

Week 9 saw a battle between two championship contenders in the Rams and Saints, but there are plenty of other games to run through to break down the fantasy takeaways. The Raiders are worse than we thought they could be (1:28), the Vikings running back situation looks to be complicated (3:47), and Jarvis Landry may never be the wide receiver that fantasy owners hope that he is (7:21). Now might be the best time to buy Tarik Cohen (15:35), should we reconsider Kerryon Johnson's value (37:43), and should we worry about Adrian Peterson (40:53)? Julio Jones and the Falcons are flying high (43:59) and is Matt Ryan a top 3 quarterback the rest of the season (45:32)? James Conner finishes with another strong day so does Le'Veon Bell even play again this season (52:18)?
