Today Lisa continues the interview with award-winning author and clinical therapist Faust Ruggiero, who discusses his step-by-step program he calls the “Process Way of Life,” which aims to help people achieve physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual balance. Faust explains how sometimes stress can take on other forms, such as restlessness, inability to sleep, anger, or irritability – these may all be signs of underlying anxiety. Faust believes that anxiety must be addressed physically first, then handle the mental component afterward. By deep breathing, and staying in the moment, we can begin to calm down the stress reaction. He also suggests implementing physical exercise and meditation, as well as beginning a mindfulness process.
