Mary is Senior Litigation Counsel with Child & Parental Rights Campaign. She is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer, having advocated for parental rights and First Amendment rights at all levels of federal and state courts. She has been an advocate for children’s rights, particularly protection from the harms of early sexualization and sexual exploitation. She has nearly three decades of experience as an attorney, as well as a passion for protecting the innocence of children. We are excited to share this informative sit down interview with Mary as she give us a well rounded perspective of the legalities involving children with the transgender movement.

Serena recounts her story of being raped by an uncle at 13 and becoming pregnant after the assault. Her parents did what was only offered to them at the time, abortion. They took their little girl to an abortion facility in hopes of removing this perceived problem. She recounts the strain it put on her family and how the abortion only added more trauma to their family and made it fall apart. A few years later she again found herself pregnant and choose life in parking lot of a Planned Parenthood clinic.
