You have dreams. You have goals
You want to achieve them, so you simply follow all the directions--
1. Make a SMART goal
2. Break the big goal down into smaller goals and action steps
3. Give yourself rewards and punishments for achieving the steps required (or not...)
and 1 week in you are doing great!
Week 2, you are feeling successful
Week 3, you decide to "treat yourself" by not doing it
Week 4, you have completely stopped.
Week 5, you berate yourself, question yourself, question the achievability of the goal
Week 6 you decide you weren't meant to do that goal anyway, and go back to the way things were.
Week 25 you get inspired to achieve that goal again... and either restart the process or don't try again because you feel like a failure.
I know this because I have lived it. I have also lived the other side of it! Where the action has become a part of my normal life. Where NOT doing it feels weird.
The problem isn't:
-Mind set
-Willpower
-Integrity
-Courage
It's ONE little thing that's holding you back. Make your SMART goals, break your goal down, and create small rewards for taking action.
