Fight Disciples Podcast

It's always very satisfying when a fight you pick as a potential for fight of the year lives up to and then exceeds your expectations.

Featherweight's, Josh Emmett and Shane Burgos, provided Saturday's entertainment with an absolute cracker which the Heavyweight main event that followed should have taken note from!

We discuss all the weekends action, preview Poirier vs Hooker and discuss the possibility of Mike Tyson fighting Jon Jones.

The most active champion of 2019 was back in action this weekend in what can only be described as a ridiculous mismatch.

We know we are living in unprecedented times but surely there was someone better available to fight Emmanuel Navarrete than a fella with a record of 13-13.  What does Navarrete get from dishing out an easy hiding?

We discuss that and a whole lot more on this weeks show.

Boxing returned this week with two shows from Top Rank behind closed doors at the MGM in Las Vegas.

We discuss the fights from the week and those upcoming over the next seven days.

The big story this week was the weird announcement of AJ vs Fury 'agreeing' to fight twice in 2021.  We pick the bones out of all the media coverage of this potential super fight.

The WBO Welterweight champion of the world very rarely gives interviews unless it's fight week, so it is an absolute pleasure to welcome him back to the Fight Disciples.

Terence Crawford is a mild mannered, reserved guy who you will never hear trash talk, but he picked up the call from Adam to discuss the prospect of fighting Manny Pacquiao in Bahrain, the future possibility of a super fight with Errol Spence jr. and raising his kids in the hope they have better opportunities than he did growing up.

Boxing is back.

Shakur Stevenson returns to the ring this week in Las Vegas.  Top Rank have rented out a whole floor at the MGM and will hold 2 to 3 boxing events in their 'bubble' for the forthcoming weeks.

We discuss COVID-19 protocols, another rumoured opponent for Canelo and whether Manny Pacquiao should fight GGG.

Dubois vs Joyce is sadly on hold for the moment so Adam caught up with triple D straight after a recent training session at the peacock gym.

Home workouts run by his sister, a new house and a behind closed doors return where all on the agenda.

Ricky Hatton became the new IBF Light Welterweight champion of the world on June 4th 2005 when he defeated the pound for pound legend, Kostya Tszyu.

We look back 15 years to that epic night in Manchester that is still yet to be topped.
