Our new series concentrates on our favourites.  Not necessarily the best but the ones that have made that emotional connection with us the most.

The first episode of the series is boxing welterweights.

In the modern era that division is hot with talent and down the years, some of the biggest ever names haver competed at 147lbs.  Many historians will bring up names like Sugar Ray Robinson  but neither of us are old enough to have ever watched him fight, so our favourite list has been compiled of fighters from our generation.

Expect an argument over Mayweather and Pacquiao, a unanimous agreement on a Goldenboy and an emotional decision that included a British fighter.

MMA epitomised in one fight.

2 giant Heavyweights, knocking seven bells out of each other, and when it's all over, a phenomenal display of love and respect.  Alistair Overeem came out on top against Walt Harris but both men can walk away with a sense of pride from their fight.

We discuss the UFC's week in Jacksonville, Jon Jones maybe making that move to Heavyweight and what is next for Conor McGregor.

We're living in a time where we need innovators.  People who can come up with solutions to a never ending list of problems.  The idea of Eddie Hearn staging fights on his back lawn is genius.

We discuss the potential return of boxing on British soil, the proposed date from Top Rank in the states of when they too will be back and the mythology surrounding Mike Tyson and that he can still compete at the highest level.

We knew it was going to be good!

UFC 249 lived up tot he hype with a main event that delivered in buckets.  Justin Gaethje put on a masterclass to defeat Tony Ferguson whilst Henry Cejudo retired in the ring.  Big Francis didn't waste any time and Calvin Kattar unleashed a couple of hell-blows.

We discuss the entire event, Jacare's positive COVID test and what to expect this week from Jacksonville.

You can tell there's not much going on in the world of boxing when the biggest story of the week is of two former Heavyweight champions, now in their 50's, talking about coming out of retirement to fight again.

Do you want to see Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield fight again?  Do you want to see them fight each other?

We discuss that and more including Nick's jealousy of Adam getting to hang out with Prince Naseem Hamed this week.

We are back in business!

It feel's like such a long time since we have been in fight week but UFC249 is here and there's a stacked card to get stuck in to.

We discuss how the main event will effect the light weight division going forward and our personal potential fight of the night suggestions.

As well as that, there's plenty of news from the MMA world to discuss.

The British Boxing Board of Control have set their conditions for the return of the sweet science.

In a time when many sporting governing bodies are dithering, the BBBoC have given real clarity for promoters and fighters regarding the possibility of returning to business in the not too distant future.

We discuss their outline and talk about potential super fights heading to foreign soil to recoup the potential ticket sale loss.
