  • #21: Atomic Habits - How to Stop Eating Unhealthy

Follow me on Instagram here for recipes and health and nutrition tips - https://www.instagram.com/findyournutrition

On this episode I focus on my main takeaways from the book Atomic Habits by James Clear.

    • To achieve your goal, you need to change your identity
    • To change your identity, you need to pick up the habits of someone who already has that identity
    • Once you have those habits for long enough, you will naturally feel the new identity
    • Once you have this identity, the new habits about nutrition or anything else you picked up will become second nature

  • #20: I’m Having Prediabetes Symptoms Again.. in Thailand

On today's episode, I talk about having some of my prediabetes symptoms come back on my trip to Thailand.

Here's some of the symptoms that came back after eating rice, noodles, sugary sauces, and sugary drinks for 3-4 straight days:

    • Dizziness when standing quickly
    • Acne
    • Tiredness
    • Hungry soon after meals / cravings for more food

I also talk about 2 different types of people I noticed while walking in the night food markets here in northern Thailand:

    1. People eating noodles, crepes, and pancakes and looking obese and unhealthy
    2. People and families eating meat, fish, and vegetables and looking very healthy and energetic

I choose to eat like the people who look and probably feel at their best. What will you choose?
