Strength to Strength welcomed Grant Bontrager to discuss lessons learned through his life story.
Grant Bontrager was born as the result of a sexual assault. Although he was raised in a loving, Christian home, he still struggled intensely with identity, questions about his past, and the belief that God had a plan for his strange, confusing life.
It wasn’t until he went to a counselor, took a deep look at his heart, identified the pain caused by those questions, and brought that pain to Jesus, that he was able to find his identity, and the answers to the many “Why?” questions.
Grant has found his calling in life to go share his story in prisons and churches, and to walk with others who are struggling with painful things in their lives.
An interactive question-and-answer period follows.
