In today’s episode, I’m chatting with Krisi Vadnais. Krisi is a Hypnotherapist, Life Coach and an award-winning Public Speaker. When she is not helping women bring out their inner badass self, she is an only parent to two precocious boys who are 6 and 9. To date, her greatest accomplishment is keeping them alive and (mostly) clothed.
Listen in as we discuss being raised as a circus monkey, healing beliefs that no longer serve you, the shame and guilt around living with an alcoholic partner and forgiving yourself so you can love who you are. And, kindred spirits that we are, Krisi’s hype song is the same as mine.
Alcoholism is an exceptionally difficult topic for people to talk about. So I’m extremely grateful and honored that Krisi was willing to come on the show and share her experience.
Remember to take advantage of Krisi’s generous offer of the 10 minute video on how to do really basic EFT tapping to get rid of negative thoughts.
You can go to www.CoachKrisi.com and there is a link to click to sign up for it, or you can email Krisi at [email protected], put TAPPING in the subject line, and she will send you a FREE video of how to use tapping.

This meditation is about surrendering. Not in terms of giving up, but as in letting go of control. What if you surrendered your resistance to that person or feeling or situation you’re trying to control. Imagine feeling a deep state of inner peace and freedom by allowing and going with the flow.

From Food Stamps to Fulfillment
On today’s episode, we’re exploring what it means to Pursue Success God's Way with my Success Champion Networking friend Erin Harrigan.
Erin Harrigan writes, coaches and speaks on the healing power of trading in self-reliance for surrender to make God your business partner. As a recovering driver and striver, she teaches women how to pursue success God's way to build a thriving business, and heal from overwhelm, overachieving and under fulfillment.
Erin is a wife, mom, avid traveler and lover of tacos, guac and all things 80's!
Listen to hear her story of going from living on food stamps as a child to achieving everything she’d always considered to be success. But when she got there, she felt guilty because she still didn’t feel fulfilled. Like many, she tried to fill the void by doing more and working harder. It wasn’t until she was struck by an epiphany in October of 2014 that she was able to stop beating herself up, surrender, and find her true calling.
Remember to check out Erin’s Hustle with Heart podcast and get chapter 1 of her book, Pursuing Success God’s Way, which you can do at her website ErinHarrigan.com.

This meditation will help you tune up your chakras. Chakras have been described as spinning vortexes of energy that align along your spine, starting from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. There are seven main chakras, corresponding to different energy points along your spine. Each one relates to different nerves and organs and affect our every aspect of our being.
When your chakras are balanced, everything is open, aligned, and fluid. Sometimes, though, they get blocked and the energy flow is restricted. So this meditation will help open them up and bring them back into balance.

Lately, I’ve been hearing people say they feel guilty about or afraid of feeling happy. So they take measures to limit their joy or find ways to sabotage it. On one hand, this sounds ridiculous. On the other, how often have you said, I’ll be happy when… when being some randomly imposed condition?
You can allow yourself to feel joy whenever you’d like. Feeling joyful is your birthright. Listen to this meditation to feel good, joyful and alive.

Today I have the pleasure of talking with my good friend Tracy Kay. Tracy and I met when we were working in the same office. One day over lunch at Panera, it became clear we would be lifelong friends.
Tracy’s mom taught her to believe she could do anything she wanted. After graduating from the Baltimore High School for the Arts as a dance major, Tracy enjoyed a fulfilling career performing in musical theatre shows throughout the US and Europe. Once she started a family tho, she found herself struggling to live the life she thought society expected of her but wasn’t authentic to who she was.
Whereas manifesting her heart’s desires had been easy before, now her life felt heavy and difficult and frustrating. As she worked through the agony of thinking something must be wrong with her, and for the sake of her children, she stayed in her situation for another 15 years before finding the courage to – in her words – run through the flames away from the fire.
Today, she continues to move from “fine” to “fantastic” by listening to her inner truth and taking baby steps to move her in the right direction. She says “At times, the journey can be difficult, but living a life of regret would be even more difficult.”
Tracy's hype song is Fight Song by Rachel Platten https://youtu.be/xo1VInw-SKc

This meditation presents you with the opportunity to focus on feeling gratitude for your physical body and everything it does for you. Even if your parts and organs don’t look or work exactly as you’d like them to, you can feel love and appreciation for them and for what they can do.

My guest in today’s episode is Wendy Isett. Wendy and I met through LinkedIn a few months ago. So anyone who says LinkedIn is only an online resume platform is mistaken.
When we talked, Wendy was still in a career transition, evaluating her options. In our conversation, we talk about dealing with the humanness of life and evaluating what you’re getting from staying stuck in fine. Because there’s a reason you’re not moving forward and it’s usually because you’re still getting some benefit or payoff for staying there. We get into choosing how to feel, understanding what triggers certain emotions, and redirecting your thoughts.
Wendy had gotten very comfortable, and possibly even a tad complacent, in a job she held for 20 years. And then one day, she was unceremoniously pushed out of the nest. Interestingly, she had known for a while that it was time to move on. She just wasn’t acknowledging the signs.
If that wasn’t enough, she then experienced the passing of two important family members.
It never ceases to amaze me how the Universe drops all kinds of hints and arranges things in perfect order though. Wendy had started taking courses to prepare for the next phase of life, although that wasn’t exactly why she’d signed up. None the less, that knowledge would become essential in the months ahead.
Listen to hear the most important lessons she learned and applied from those courses and how you can use this same knowledge in your life.
Wendy's hype song is Brave by Sara Bareilles https://youtu.be/QUQsqBqxoR4

This meditation focuses your attention on loving what is, not fighting what is not.
Sometimes we get so focused on what we don’t have and what we wish would be, that we don’t see and appreciate what we do have. Here is an opportunity to step away from the situation, see it from a different perspective, and find the possibility within it.
