There is no greater contrast in your Bible than that of light and darkness. Paul wrote that we are not creatures of the night but rather of the day. There is a sinful nature in each of us that must be overcome by the power of the light of the Holy Ghost.

Today’s society is one that will go out of its way to avoid physical and emotional pain. Many people are addicted to substances that allow them to avoid or cope with their pain. God is the only one that can take pain and use it as a testimony for His glory.

The book of Leviticus teaches what was to happen when leprosy was found in the warp or woof of a garment. This leprous garment, a type of sin, had to go into the fire. Likewise, the only way to combat the sin in our lives is to burn it out with the fire of the Holy Ghost.
