He has done everything the boss wanted and was told he would be sent to school but instead they hired someone else and sent them to school! WTF!!!

I talk about some of the reasons why this happens. The real reasons why this happens. Not only because of shitty management but Techs that are in a way not good enough to progress in the industry.  The tech that emailed me is not one of the bad ones he is actually a good tech that may just be at a shitty shop.  Sometimes you just got to move on to a better shop With better management.  Just listen to the episode.

Basically to let you know to do your research before going to any independent or performance shop, or any shop.  I almost left a decent shop to go work at a performance shop.  The owner tried to get me there and made it all sound too good to be true. And in the end it was. 
And I end up ranting my opinion on the reason why there is a technician shortage.
