En: Is that you?"

Ro: " întrebă Andrei, surprins.
En: Andrei asked, surprised.

Ro: "De ce iei decorațiunile?
En: "Why are you taking the decorations?"

Ro: "Vlad oftă și lăsă sacul din mână.
En: Vlad sighed and dropped the bag.

Ro: "Nu voiam să le fur, Andrei.
En: "I didn't want to steal them, Andrei.

Ro: Am auzit că vine o furtună puternică.
En: I heard a strong storm is coming.

Ro: M-am gândit că ar fi mai bine să le iau și să le protejez.
En: I thought it would be better to take them and protect them.

Ro: Oricum, le-aș fi înapoiat după Crăciun," explică Vlad.
En: I would have returned them after Christmas anyway," explained Vlad.

Ro: Andrei se gândi puțin la vorbele lui Vlad.
En: Andrei thought for a moment about Vlad's words.

Ro: Deși fusese sigur că cineva fura, acum înțelegea bună intenția vecinului său.
En: Although he was sure that someone was stealing, now he understood the good intention of his neighbor.

Ro: "Poate ar fi fost mai bine să ne întrebi înainte," spuse Andrei zâmbind un pic.
En: "Maybe it would have been better to ask us first," said Andrei, smiling a bit.

Ro: Vlad râse și dădu din cap.
En: Vlad laughed and nodded.

Ro: În zilele ce-au urmat, cei din cartier, ajutați de Andrei și Vlad, împodobeau din nou casele.
En: In the following days, the neighborhood residents, helped by Andrei and Vlad, decorated the houses again.

Ro: Zăpada se topi rapid, și luminile străluceau din nou pe străzi.
